Tim Goncalves

is a Sergeant with the Merced County Sheriff’s Office currently assigned to the Merced Area Gang and Narcotic Enforcement Team (M.A.G.N.E.T.) and S.W.A.T. Team. Tim started with the Merced County Sheriff’s Office in November of 2008 as a Deputy Sheriff assigned to Court Services. Tim has worked various assignments as both a Deputy Sheriff and Sergeant to include Patrol, Corrections, Gangs and Narcotics, and Major Crimes. In 2010 Tim was selected to be a member of the Merced County Regional S.W.A.T. Team. During his time on S.W.A.T. Tim has worked in various roles and hold instructor certifications in various disciplines (firearms, chemical agents, less lethal, etc.). In 2017 Tim transitioned into a Team Leader role as a Deputy Sheriff and in 2018, when he promoted to Sergeant, he was able to stay on the team as a TL. Tim is a graduate of the Direct Action Resource Center (D.A.R.C.) completing LECTC-1, LECTC-2, and P.I.C. and currently participating in the Instructor Development Program. Tim has been a long time CATO member.

Jeremy Edmonson

Jeremy Edmonson is a sergeant with the Clovis Police Department. He has been in law enforcement for 16 years. Sgt. Edmonson is assigned to the Special Enforcement Team (gags, narcotics and human trafficking) full time. Sgt. Edmonson has been on the Clovis Police Department SWAT team for 13 years and a team leader for the past 5 years. Sgt. Edmonson is also a defensive tactics and field tactics instructor. Sgt. Edmonson has been a long time CATO member.

Pierce Masse

Sergeant Pierce Masse has been with the City of Fresno as an Officer for 14 years. 6 years SWAT, 2 years as Sgt / team leader. He is currently assigned to one of Fresno Police Department regional gang unit’s tactical teams.
