is an Officer with the California Highway Patrol. He has served in Patrol in the Bay Area and Los Angeles, working undercover and plainclothes investigation positions with the Investigative Services Unit, the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force, and Protective Services Division. Rodriguez also served in the Division’s Warrant Service Team, and during this time worked as an Evaluator and Site Captain during the Urban Shield SWAT portion of the event. Before joining CHP, he was in the United States Marine Corps for ten years, serving in the 1st Surveillance, Reconnaissance, and Intelligence Group. Within other units, Rodriguez was a Drill Instructor, Senior Drill Instructor, and Chief Instructor with 1st Battalion, Charlie Company, and Weapons and Field Battalion. He finished his deployment with Task Force 58 for Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. Rodriguez’s law enforcement career started before the Marines, when he was an Auxiliary Police Officer in Brooklyn, NY, for the NYPD’s 75th Precinct. He has been a member of CATO for several years.
Jason Tillberg has been in Law Enforcement since 2007. He has been on the Berkeley Police Department SWAT team since 2014. Jason is a firearms, defensive tactics, use of force, and less lethal instructor.
