LIAM CUELLAR
Son of Sergeant Romel Cuellar, Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office

Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Sergeant Romel Cuellar’s youngest child Liam is battling B-cell Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia. As you can imagine, this means a lot of time off from work, travel, and all of the expenses that go with it. This is where his LE family comes in to keep up the fight! Liam is currently receiving care at a children’s hospital in the Bay Area, but treatment may last an estimated 2-3 years. To help ease the tremendous financial burden on this family, we hope everyone will come together and donate what they can. Money raised will go towards medical bills, lodging, and travel for Liam’s procedures and treatments.

A friend of the Cueller family has started a Go Fund Me page already. CATO created this separate Go Fund Me page because we were contacted by an anonymous donor who has agreed to match what the CATO team raises! At the conclusion of the fundraiser, our efforts will be matched by the donor, and we will bring a check to the family.

SERGEANT HARRY COHEN

Sergeant Harry Cohen served with Riverside County Sheriff’s Department for 24 years, most recently assigned to the Special Enforcement Bureau – K-9 Unit. He began his service with the Department in 1996, and as a deputy, he worked assignments at the Banning Station, Lake Elsinore Station, and Southwest Station. In 2003, he was promoted to corporal within the Southwest Station where he worked until his promotion to sergeant in 2010. Sergeant Cohen then worked assignments at the Perris Station, Moreno Valley Station, Ben Clark Training Center, PSEC, Special Enforcement Bureau, and K-9 Unit. He passed away while on duty due to a heart attack; he was 48 years old. He is survived by his wife, son, and daughter. There are multiple ways you can help Sergeant Cohen’s family: A friend of the Cueller family has started a Go Fund Me page already. RUNNING 4 HEROES

“Our First Responders do so much for us. I want to let them know they are appreciated.”

Running 4 Heroes is a Non-Profit founded by a then 10 year old (now 11). The mission seeks to raise funds for our injured First Responders while also paying tribute to our Fallen Heroes through running. In 2019, Running 4 Heroes officially became a non-profit 501(c)(3). Zechariah runs one mile for every First Responder who makes the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. He wants to honor those who gave up their life so we may live in a better world. Donations received go towards purchasing American Flags, which Zechariah runs with. He then presents that specific flag he ran with to the specific First Responder family in which he ran for. Another amazing way Running 4 Heroes utilizes the gracious donations you provide is by providing financial relief to injured First Responders and their families.
