This 40-hour course will address the various duties and responsibilities associated with the assignment as a Tactical Team Commander.

• Leadership
• Tactical case reviews
• Penal Code 13514.1
• Liability
• Mission planning and review
• POST SWAT Operational Guidelines and Standardized Training Recommendations
• Public perception

Student Requirements:

• A laptop computer to review documents and prepare presentations.
• A copy of the agency's SWAT policies and procedures/guidelines.
• Acopy of the agency's threat assessment matrix.
